Ghosts according to the simple terms of eastern people (rural area) is uninvisible creatures created by our god. Ghost is part of Jinne who made up from fire.“Ghosts” according to western definition is unvisible thing made up of unstable atomic nuclei which loses energy, can decay, when exposed to radiation in the form of particles or electromagnetic waves. Allowing excessive electrical equipment near active sites during paranormal investigations can affect spirits in a harmful way.

If we searched for the meaning of paranormal we would find reference to psychic sense, telekinesis, Near death experiences, and many others. In asian country, we can find people who called paranormal has a special sense knowledge (Called: sixth sense), inner power (called: tenaga dalam), alternative medicine (called: penyembuh), etc. Paranormal basically means that which stretches beyond our normal realm of understanding. It is a phenomena that can not be classified with any scientific methods nor has clear cut answers that can be logically concluded. The word paranormal comes from the words "para" meaning beyond, and normal. So the term paranormal really means something that is beyond the normal scope of science or being beyond a scientific explanation. According to the Journal of Parapsychology, the term paranormal describes "any phenomenon that in one or more respects exceeds the limits of what is deemed physically possible according to current scientific assumptions."
